Description
ER316L is austenitic stainless steel type material of the same chemical composition as ER316 except lower carbon content in order to reduce the possibility of formation of intergranular carbide precipitation.
Suitable for welding of austenitic CrNiMo steels. Resistant to intergranular corrosion up to 400°C and general corrosion conditions. Especially used in welding chemical tanks, pipes and equipments which are used in chemical, petrochemical, paint, textile, paper and shipbuilding industries, etc.
