ER308LSi - is austenitic stainless steel type material with low carbon content for welding of austenitic CrNi steels. The same classication as ER308L, except for higher silicon content.
Provides excellent mechanical strength and high resistance to intergranular corrosion and oxidizing environments at service temperatures up to 300 °C.
Suitable for a wide range of applications including sheet/plate and pipework fabrication, food industries, pharmaceutical equipment and general fabrication. Ideal for welding of types 304, 304L, 321 and 347 stainless steels.
