Guide Specifications
- Material: Cover and frame are 2.3mm aluminium
- Cover: Breakformed, hollow-metal design with 50mm concealed polyisocyanurate insulation with a U-value of 0.47 W/m2K, 100mm beaded, overlapping flange, fully welded at corners, and internally reinforced for 195 kg/m2 live load.
- Curb: 102mm in height formed with a 67mm flange and 38mm apron, fully welded at corners. Stainless steel anchor clips are included. Bilco recommended maximum upstand width is 65mm. 25mm polyisocyanurate curb insulation with a U-value of 0.47 W/m2K.
- Gasket: Extruded EPDM rubber gasket permanently adhered to cover. Air leakage performance 4.83m3/hr/m2 @ 600 Pa Tested to BS EN 12207: 2000
- Hinges: Heavy-duty pintle hinges with 9.5mm type 316 stainless steel hinge pins.
- Latch: Slam latch with interior and exterior turn handles and padlock hasps.
- Lift Assistance: Compression spring operators enclosed in telescopic tubes. Automatic hold-open arm with grip handle release.
- Finish: Mill Finish aluminium
- Hardware: Engineered composite compression spring tubes. Steel compression springs with electrocoated acrylic finish.Type 316 Stainless steel hinges. All other hardware is zinc plated/chromate sealed
