The Independent Bath

In our opinion the Medic-Bath Independent is the best transfer seat bath available on the market today. The bath is similar in style and dimension to a standard bath with the extra benefit of a seat which raises and lowers you into the bath. Unlike many other accessible baths, the Medic-Bath Independent can be filled prior to using, so as to avoid sitting in the tub while it fills.

The Medic-Bath Independent has been designed to allow easy transfer at the touch of a button. The bath seat can be raised or lowered to provide the perfect wheel chair transfer height. The chair is then rotated through ninety degrees and gently lowered into the bath.

The Medic-Bath Independent comes in two main types; manual and full power traverse, the difference being that the manual traverse seat needs to be moved across manually. With the power traverse the bath seat is powered to move both up and down and across the bath on command.
