- In detail
With a significant increase in rainfall and rising sea levels, the collection of surface water has become paramount in new residential and comercial developments as volumes far exceed the capabilities of many existing sewerage systems.
Attenuation systems, including tanks and rainwater harvesting systems, are designed to manage peak flow rates in storms, by attenuating excess flow on site for the duration of the storm and then releasing it at a specified reduced flow rate, after the storm.
CCP can supply Stormwater Attenuation tanks to suit the needs of the development.
Units are standard in section and the volume of the tank can be varied by simply increasing and decreasing the number of sections of the tank. Each section has a capacity of approximately 9000 litres. Lid sections can be made tailored to the requirements and manholes and openings cast in as required.
