Cast as a single piece unit the SHB basin is a highly vandal resistant solid surface version of a traditional china basin found in older secure accommodation. Equally, when fitted in lieu of vitreous china the SHB basin can dramatically reduce breakages in public conveniences or schools where vandalism is a problem. Not anti-ligature in design, the SHB can be surface or through wall mounted. Water is normally dispensed via hot and cold non-percussive taps fitted with anti-rotational pins although other, more robust methods from the Wallgate controls range can be adapted to suit.
