| ISL silencers are fabricated from pre-galvanised mild steel sheet, and are also available in stainless steel, aluminium, polypropylene and GRP.
Rectangular duct silencers are fitted with side linings to prevent noise flanking, and the acoustic infill material is retained by a pre-galvanised perforated inner skin with radiused nose fairing giving a 'bell-mouth' entry to all airways. A variety of different flanges can be fitted to the silencers, e.g. folded angles, RSA, Mez, Doby or Ductmate. Circular silencers will have end-rings fitted to the outer casing with tapped holes to suit customer requirements. The CAP model is fitted with a centre pod to increase attenuation. Both rectangular and circular silencers can be supplied with spigot end connections which are particularly suitable for cross-talk applications. Heavy-duty industrial versions can also be provided to meet particular specifications or requirements. |
