Hotel Thanington has probably the largest collection of single malt whiskies in Canterbury and East Kent and we are proud to offer over 100 varieties of single malts for the discerning customers. Our malts come from each of the Scotish malt whiskey areas of Speyside, the Lowlands, the East, North and West Highlands, the Islands (particularily Islay) and Campbell Town. We would be pleased to offer advice or suggest a dram to meet your taste - or just serve your favorite liquor. We also stock a good range of local beers including Spitfire and Bishops Finger, and largers for those of a more "hop" based taste. The bar is open until 11 pm, drinks are also served in the garden.
