The baby bottles are made from Polyether Sulphone (PES) this is honey coloured and very durable. The PES Avent bottles are free from Bisphenol A, (or BPA), a chemical that has been linked to hormone disruption.

The Philips Avent baby bottle is easy to use, easy to assemble and easy to clean. it is a tried and tested design that has been a firm favourite of mothers for many years.

Wide necked baby bottle design

The wide neck on the Philips Avent baby bottle allows for easy filling and easy cleaning. There are just four parts with this bottle - the bottle, teat, screw on top to hold the teat in place, and a tight fitting lid to keep the teat clean.The bottles can be used in a cold water or electric steriliser.

Anti-colic design baby bottle

The Philips Avent teat has a built in anti-colic valve which flexes during use to allow air into the bottle preventing a vacuum from building up. Air bubbles move away from the teat into the bottle, rather than baby's tummy. The teat works with baby's natural feeding action, helping to control the milk flow. The shape of the soft silicone teat helps to promote proper latching-on, making it easier to combine breast and bottle feeding.
