Tasting Note: | "The fermenting must is left in contact with the skins for about 15 days after crushing. Ageing takes place partly in tank and partly in barrique. The wine is bottled without fining or filtering. The result is a wine of intense colour and fragrance, with great depth on the palate dominated by a chocolately, mulberryish character. The tannins are fine grained, the flavours pristine and the finish long and finely balanced." David Gleave MW |
