Macadamia oil. Description
Macadamia - an evergreen, fast-growing tree of family Proteynykh. Till the 19th century, the tree and its fruits were known only to aboriginals of Australia, now, thanks to taste and food qualities of a nut of a macadamia, grow up a tree in many countries with tropical climate (in particular, in the countries of South America, Africa), the biggest exporter of nuts of a macadamia is Hawaii. From nine grades of a nut tree of a macadamia only two have industrial value: Macadamia integrifolia i Macadamia tetraphylla.
Macadamia oil. The structure macadamia Oil in comparison with other vegetable oils contains in the structure big percent of monononsaturated fatty acids (57% of oleic acid, 25% of palmitic acid), also in oil there is a high percent of the palmitoleinovy Omega-7 fatty acid accelerating a metabolism of fats and reducing their quantity in an organism. Also oil of a macadamia contains potassium, zinc, copper, selenium, vitamin E and vitamins of group B (B1, B2, B5). Oil has light-golden color and characteristic nut taste and aroma.

Applied as food oil, macadamia oil well influences cardiovascular system, helps to prevent atherosclerosis. Also oil strengthens regenerative functions of an organism, slows down processes of its aging. Antioxidant properties of oil prevent development of oncological diseases. Thanks to saturated nut taste, oil from nuts of a macadamia is ideally suited for seasoning of salads, impacting them unique relish. Oil can be one of components of sauces where the nut smell and taste is necessary. In view of resistance to high temperatures, oil of a macadamia can be used for frying. After opening, oil keeps the useful and flavoring properties within 6-8 months.
