Description
Cartridges are made with a nickel-chrome
resistance wire spiral wound and housed
in ceramic formers, which is then sheathed,
with stainless steel or brass tubing.
They are designed for industrial
applications where low to medium power
density is required.
Cartridge heaters of this type are used
extensively in the plastics industry and
other tool or mould heating applications
as well as in refrigeration equipment.
• Brass sheath: CBCL - (350°C max)
or Stainless steel sheath AISI304:
CBCI - (500°C max)
• Max Watt density: 4W/cm2 (CBCL)
