- In detail
The SAACKE steam atomising burner of type DDZ are low NOx burners available in duoblock construction (i.e. burner and fan are installed at different locations). Basically, light fuel oil and heavy oil or gas may be used as fuels, but even a combination of gas and oil is possible.
The SAACKE DDZ burners are especially used in large water tube boilers, but also as turbine exhaust gas burners in power plants, waste incineration plants and for special thermal-process technology applications.
SAACKE may provide you both with the individual burner as with the complete firing plant. The most essential components of a steam atomising burner system are the burner itself, the air guiding system with fan, the control and monitoring system, and the oil and steam valves and fittings. Air guiding is realised by means of a wind box which is a static air box welded to the boiler wall. This highly-developed SAACKE air guiding systems allows you to individually adjust staged air which ensures optimum low-emission combustion. When greater demands are being placed to the emission level and the preconditions are extremely difficult, the SAACKE steam atomising burner is also available in an extended version.
