The light and sound indicator of the evacuation exit SZU - 12 - 10 "RASKAT" (hereinafter referred to as the indicator) is intended to determine the escape route in case of smoke and increased steam content, dust in the room, when visual warning devices are ineffective, as well as in low - light conditions, in order to additionally indicate exit point.
Structurally, the light and sound indicator SZU - 12 - 10 "RASKAT" consists of a housing, a dynamic head and a printed circuit board with elements and connecting terminals.
The pointer is driven by supply voltage; either manually - using a switch, or by a command from the control panel through the control and switching device "UUK" PASHK 425412.027 TU or other control equipment supplying the indicator with a constant voltage of 12 ± 1.2 V and providing a load current of at least 2A.

INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The SZU - 12 - 10 "RASKAT" light and sound indicator of the evacuation exit is installed at an object protected from the effects of atmospheric precipitation, mechanical influences and access by unauthorized persons, in accordance with NPB 104 - 03 and RD 78.145 - 93 .
The installation site is selected based on the expected escape routes; for example, the sign can be installed over doorways, which in case of an emergency will serve as points for personnel to enter a safe area.
The diagram of external connections of the indicator with manual control is shown in Fig. 1
A diagram of the external connections of the indicator when controlling the device by a fire alarm control panel (PPKOP) is shown in Fig. 2. The pointer is connected to the VO (external notification) output of the PKKOP device made according to the OK scheme (open collector) in compliance with the polarity through the control and switching device UUK - 12 - 01 PASHK 425412.027 - 00, which closes the pointer power circuit upon a signal from the Control Panel. Constant voltage is supplied to the terminals " + 12V" and "COMMON"; thus, the indicator turns on (a characteristic “hiss” and a blinking of a bright green LED indicator are heard). The recommended distance of the supply wire is no more than 10 m
