Description
The IRIS 50 Hand bearing Compass has been specifically designed for use in darkness and is now the chosen instrument of numerous military forces throughout the world.
It is the ultimate in night-reading functionality with integrally fitted Swiss Tritium light sources, The same lighting as you find in Traser watches enabling you to navigate in total darkness through the prism and from above.
The light sources will glow for 10 years without any external power source & do not need recharging with sunlight. It is waterproof, lightweight & compact, the ergonomic design & non-slip rubber casing make it almost indestructible and the soft bottom cell prevents the formation of bubbles & leaks, & the red rubber lines ensure that it's easy to read.
With no parallax error, as a prism projects the reading of the bearing to infinity, this dual function (hand-bearing & traditional) compass is essential for all night-time trips.
