The HU20 Maxi standard horizontal gel unit is ideal for large-scale preparatory and analytical electrophoresis techniques. A 20 x 20cm gel-casting tray, with 4 comb positions, allows the user to perform high-resolution analytical research for a maximum of 160 samples, while buffer recirculation ports are included as standard to prevent buffer depletion and ion gradient formation during long-distance separations. Casting gates with integral silicon seals provide leak- and tape-free gel-casting either within the tank or externally, whereas SS-HU20 Scie-Plas Super-Seals give the user the option of flexible gel-casting.
