Drying Units

The Drying unit produces a controlled drying effect by introducing a temperature controlled flow of air across the product.

The airflow across the product accelerates the release of moisture into the passing air. The moisture-laden air then goes through a condensing coil where the moisture is removed, and drained off to a convenient drainage point. The dehumidified air is then drawn back into the dryer to repeat the cycle.

This continuous recirculation of the air within the unit enables a gradual reduction in product moisture content. The recirculation and main fan motors are equipped with variable speed controllers to enable fine-tuning for optimum drying conditions.
