Dry blotter, semi, V10-SDB Mini 10 x 10 cm

For gels up to 10 x 10cm manufactured from rugged acrylic components, the V10 Semi Dry Blotter requires a very low buffer volume for transfers of nucleic and proteins acids. With a current of only 0.8mA per cm2, very little heat is produced. This prevents heat build up during the transfer and therefore prevents band distortion. Depending on the molecular weight of the molecules involved, transfers can be achieved in less than one hour. The positive electrode is manufactured from platinised titanum.
