The great urban-rural mix offers cyclists lots of options to explore. The Lagan and Lough Cycle Way offers a total of 21 miles of flat, traffic-free and scenic paths, following the beautiful Lagan Towpath and Belfast Lough. On the way you can enjoy stunning views over Belfast's bustling city centre, the River Lagan, the Belfast Hills and wonderful public art including the 'Big Fish' at Donegall Quay and the 'Concentric Twist' at Lisburn. For the less active, Belfast's many parks and gardens offer a beautiful backdrop for any leisurely cycle within the city. Mountain biking is massive here using the Mournes mountain range which is one of the most stunning and beautiful areas in Europe to explore.
