Morgan Thermal Ceramics' Superwool® Fibre products have been developed to show improved high temperature characteristics required to act as an alternative to RCF whilst having similar biopersistence to other exonerated fibres.
Our patented Superwool® Fibre technology goes into our boards which are rigid panels made from a mixture of Superwool® 607® and 607® HT Fibres, refractory fillers and organic and inorganic binders. Our Superwool® Fibre boards can be cut with a hacksaw blade allowing precise shapes to be made and can be used in direct contact with flame. It features very low thermal conductivity, has a low heat storage capacity and has good thermal shock resistance allowing it to be used in applications where large variations in temperature occur.
