Beach holidays are still the most popular type of holiday. With hectic lifestyles and colder climates, who would want to give up their two-weeks on the beach? Caribbean beach holidays continue to be popular, favourites continue to be Barbados, Antigua andSt Lucia but luxury beach holidays can also be found in the Turks & Caicos and the British Virgin Islands.

And it may be a few years since The Beach made the Far East a hot spot for beach holidays but the area's popularity continues. We shouldn't forget some great beaches closer to home either.
