Baltic amber flower collar

I was in St Petersburg a few summers ago and saw the most wonderfully designed amber jewellery. I bring a small selection of this jewellery to you now. Each piece is hand made so no two items will ever be the same. The Baltic amber nuggets are intricately woven into the design with tiny amber coloured glass seed beads. This astounding collar is reminiscent of the designs produced by Miriam Haskell in the 1950's. The collar has a lattice work design with small flower decorations scattered around it. The large floral motif is designed to be worn to one side/ The necklace measures 45cm long, lying flat, it will therefore be approx. 2-3cm shorter when curved around the neck, 2 cm wide. The flower decoration measures 8x7.5cm
