Tasting Note: | The grapes were harvested by hand. Cold maceration for 3 to 4 days at 14ºC prior to fermentation. Whole berry fermentation with native yeast. 4 to 6 days of post maceration at a maximum of 25ºC after the fermentation. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation in the tank. Red/ ruby colour with violet reflections. Aromas with notes of red wild berries such as blackberry and raspberry, as well as plums and Odfjell's signature licorice. On the palate, the wine has a round attack, showing fruit and a refreshing, well-balanced, acidity, with a long and juicy finish. http://www.odfjellvineyards.cl |
