Asphalt solutions is a range of surfacing materials from Hanson specially developed for uses from major civil engineering projects to domestic driveways and paths.
There are three product groups in the range - Tuffgrip, Tuffpave and Durafalt - each with its own unique qualities and characteristics. And all backed by the strength and durability of the Hanson brand.
Tuffgrip
Tuffgrip is our flagship thin surfacing system, approved by HAPAS for highways and other paved areas. It uses quality high polished stone value (PSV) aggregates and a specially developed polymer modified binder.
Tuffgrip is tough on noise, tough on skidding and tough on wet weather spray. It is also tough enough to stand up to heavy traffic yet provide an ultra-smooth ride.
Tuffgrip is laid only by Hanson-approved contractors and comes with a -year no-quibble guarantee, underwritten by both Hanson and BP.
Tuffpave
Tuffpave is a HAPAS-approved polymer-modified based thin surfacing system, which can be laid by any approved contractor. The Tuff range also includes:
Tuffdrive, a durable material for residential driveways,
Tuffdrain specially developed for motorway drainage channels and
Tuffbase, a polymer-modified base/binder course with good load spreading and anti-rutting properties.
Durafalt
In addition to our mainstream brands, we can also supply coloured asphalts, specialist produces for sports surfaces and oil-resistant materials for lorry parks and garages.
